Mission: “To promote arts and culture in our region”

reach across curricular areas;
expose kids to a range of cultures and points of view;
reach hard-to-reach students;
nurture communication skills;
and bring joy at the same time.”

In addition to presenting first-run movies and live performances at the historic theatres, the BCRAC works extensively with regional schools, arts groups and communities to help enrich the lives of our rural citizens. In the 07-08 school year there are over 300 days when BCRAC sponsored professional artists will work in school classrooms and Head Start centers.
